FOCUS AND SCALE

         The publication purpose is to cover the research content and results of local and international scholars in the field of history and theory on theatrology and filmology issues, fine art, graphics, theater, scenography and design.

          Objectives of the journal:
          Publishing the peer-reviewed scientific journal, our editorial team, in addition to the main purpose (providing a platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, as well as the development of joint international scientific projects in the field of art expertise), pursues additional goals:
          ▪ research of traditional schools and modern trends in the development of audiovisual and performing arts in Central Asia and Kazakhstan;
          ▪ integration of international and domestic experience between professional associations and universities of the arts through the introduction of fundamental research on topical issues of art expertise in the practice of teaching;
          ▪ distribution and exchange of information on modern scientific research conducted by Kazakh and foreign scientists in the field of audiovisual, performing, art expertise and philosophy arts;
          ▪ promotion of high-quality professional performing and fine art education in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, corresponding to the modern international level of artists, musicians, directors, choreographers, art experts, theater expets, film experts and art teachers;
          ▪ creation of discussion platforms for communication for professionals and young scientists, domestic and foreign experts in the field of art, as well as art managers, producers and cultural figures;
          ▪ attraction of international experience and promotion of Central Asian art in the field of creative industries in order to attract the attention of the international community, funds and grants to support the creativity of young and professionals.

          The editorial policy of the journal ensures the involvement of scholars, researchers, theorists involved in art history, philosophy of art and science and pedagogy of art, undergraduates, graduate students and doctoral students (PhD). The journal is open for cooperation with all interested parties and organizations. The editorial board of the journal constantly attracts new authors with analytical materials, scientific articles, and reviews.
          Main principles
          The author submitting the article to CAJAS thereby expresses his consent to its publication in the journal, posting in the public domain on the journal’s website on the Internet and transmitting the text of the article (including references, bibliographic information, etc.) to third parties, the provision to whom this data is mandatory, or to other persons in order to ensure the possibility of citing publications and increasing the citation index of the author and journal.
          The authors are responsible for the factual materials and data cited in the articles.
          The materials posted in the journal reflect the personal point of view of the authors, which may differ from the point of view of the editors.
          The decision to publish or reject materials is made by the editorial board and approved by the editor-in-chief.
          The royalties for publishing articles are not charged.
          The editors have the right to reject materials that are inadequately executed or not related to the subject of the journal.
          The editors do not enter into a discussion with the authors of the rejected materials.
          The editors reserve the right to make reductions and editorial changes to the manuscript in agreement with the author.
          Manuscripts are not returned.
          Reprinting, posting or distribution of materials published and/or posted on the official website of CAJAS without the prior written consent of the editorial staff is not allowed. Violation of the editorial exclusive rights to use the materials submitted for publication and processed by the publisher is punishable by law.
          The CAJAS Editorial Policy includes the following documents:
          Ethics of scientific publications based on academic honesty;
          Article review procedure;
          Guide for authors on the design of the manuscript;

          The relationships of all parties (editors, authors, reviewers) are based on compliance with the Ethics of Scientific Publications.
          Acceptance, verification and preliminary consideration of materials submitted by the authors for publication in CAJAS are carried out in accordance with the Guide to the authors on the design of the manuscript. Materials and (or) accompanying documents that do not comply with the Guide for authors are rejected, the author is informed of the need to bring materials and (or) accompanying documents in accordance with the Guide for authors.
          Manuscripts are reviewed in accordance with the Article Review Procedure.
          Editing of all accepted materials is carried out in accordance with the requirements for the publication of scientific literature.
